The Fishery sits in parkland surrounding Spains Hall and overlooked by the 15th Century manor house which gives the estate its name.

Stocked in 2002 with Common and Mirror Carp ranging from 3-18lbs the fishery has been producing specimen fish ever since. Every fish caught is in excellent condition and the lake is netted annually to ensure a good balance of small, medium and a few large fish.

There is rumoured to be one around the 25lb mark, but no one has yet caught him ... could you be the first?
